24/25 Travel Coach Reg

Ideal applicants should have the following qualifications: 

• Strong baseball acumen
• Prior baseball playing and/or coaching experience
• Good grasp of baseball fundamentals and strategy
• Willingness to implement GYBA baseball curriculum 
• Ability to run an efficient and effective practice plan
• Willing to establish and maintain an environment with an appropriate balance of competitiveness, sportsmanship, preparedness/work ethic, and love of the game.
• Ability to develop, articulate and implement development plans for each player
• Strong communication, management and organization skills
• Ability to manage the process of scheduling 25-35 games, 3-4 weekly practices, as well as multiple tournaments
• Ensure frequent and clear communication to parents of game, practice, team and GYBA news and events. 
• Ability to effectively manage parents questions and comments.
• Be able to have strong and clear communication with Travel Baseball President
• Strong character and leadership capabilities
• Be able to set a good example for the kids in sportsmanship, composure, work ethic, and teamwork.
• Develop an environment of individual and team accountability
• Develop a sense of team and community pride and spirit
